Wassup at the 2011 Fringe? Well, last night's opening night party-down is a thing of the past, and it's on to the performances, which as always swing from music to dance to theater to all sorts of places in-between. Two shows we've already highlighted in Night & Day -- Carolann Valentino's Burnt at the Steak at the Dairy Center and Aji Slater's Bad Day To Be a Juggler at Wesley Chapel -- begin tonight, along with numerous other offerings at numerous locations.

Annette Roman in "Hitler's Li'l Abomination." No, really.
And then there's this: Bay Area performer Annette Roman's solo show, Hitler's Li'l Abomination, which -- obviously -- grabs its audience right from the title. Spoken by the unlikely spawn of a Holocaust survivor and a former member of the Hitler Youth, it's purported to be rooted in a true story, moving from the Russian front to bridge games at a senior center, all in the space of an hour. Sounds intriguing. Just sayin'.

Hitler's Li'l Abomination premieres tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Wesley Chapel, 1290 Folsom Street on the CU-Boulder campus, with five more performances continuing through August 27; admission, two-for-one tonight only, normally (and reasonably) ranges from $5 to $8. See the Fringe website for today's complete schedule of performances.
