September 9: The world premiere of After Dark from Denver-based Level 1 Productions, 8 p.m. at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, 2637 Welton Street -- with performances by DJ Harvitronix, Knocean and Ecto Cooler -- just might be the most raging party of the year. Advance tickets are $15, or splurge for the $39.95 package deal and get a T-shirt and DVD or BluRay disc in the bargain.

September 15: The world premiere of Solitaire, from Boulder-based Sweetgrass Productions at 7 p.m. at Gothic Theatre, heads to points South, including Argentina, Peru and Chile, for backcountry ski, tele and snowboard adventures in otherworldly terrain (stay tuned for our full interview with director Nick Waggoner next week). Advance tickets are $12.
