Eyes on the prize: Pray the Devil Back to Hell focuses on Leymah Gbowee

The five-part "Women, War & Peace" spotlights the stories of women in conflict zones. Part two of this series, Pray the Devil Back to Hell, features 2011 Nobel Peace Prize winner Leymah Gbowee and her work in organizing the women of Liberia to unite, ultimately winning peace for their country and electing Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

At 4 p.m. today, the University of Denver will host a free advance screening of Pray the Devil Back to Hell at Sturm Hall Lindsey Auditorium, 2020 South Race Street. Abigail Disney, the executive producer of the series, as well as other special guests, will be on hand for guestions and discussion.

Rocky Mountain PBS started airing "Women, War & Peace" last Tuesday night; it will show Pray the Devil Back to Hell at 9 p.m. tomorrow. The series concludes on November 8; the next two installments focus on women in Afghanistan and Colombia.
