The Consumer Electronics Show, that yearly technology bacchanal, kicks off today in Las Vegas. It's an orgy of smartphones, tablets, Justin Bieber and ... gospel singers belting out tweets? You better believe it. A host of Colorado companies are there, showing and telling and (hopefully) generating buzz. Here, we present a list of ten Centennial State CES exhibitors.

OtterBox, Fort Collins
Makers of cell phone cases that could withstand the Apocalypse.

DISH Network, Douglas County
America's third-largest pay TV provider, DISH dished at CES on Monday night, unveiling a new look and several new products, including a bigger and better DVR system.

Able Planet Incorporated, Wheat Ridge
Designer of noise-canceling headphones, including some endorsed by the Birdman.

Inada Massage Chairs, Boulder
Huge manufacturer of massage chairs that look like robots.

Lazy-Hands, Larkspur
Inventors of a smudge-free, bondage-esque way to hold your gadgets.

Orbotix, Boulder
Creators of Sphero, a robotic ball you control with your smartphone.

Archos, Greenwood Village
Archos does it all: tablets, e-readers, netbooks, you name it.

Nite Ize, Boulder
Coolest flashlight manufacturer ever.

GeoPalz, Boulder
Adorable pedometers for children that (gasp!) aim to make walking fun.

Xybotyx, Littleton
Meet Xybot, "the world's first commercially available consumer robot exclusively for Apple iOS platforms." We're not sure either, but we hope that when it takes over the world, it spares its home state. Remember your roots, Xybot.
