• To those of you taking this way too seriously, it was meant to be a joke, and yes it is over-generalized, that's why it's funny. All of the "shit people say…" videos are that way ,that's how they are meant to be. If you don't have a sense of humor and if you want to over-analize something of comedy, do it elsewhere. This was not purposed for people with sticks up their asses. If you find this insulting or bothersome, get over it, I'm sure you have worse problems in your life and other things to be negative about. Lastly, the video is not called "shit EVERY GIRL IN DENVER says…" so get over it, if you're honestly letting our video bother you, you're probably one of the people that talks like this. sincerely,the girls who made this videoand p.s.one half of our team was born and raised in Colorado, so this wasn't wrote by people not from here.

•  Sorry to steal your thunder, NotLaughing, but every single thing I wrote on that list has been something I've heard at least one person (if not more) say it some point during my tenure there. It's funny you mention it--two days ago, after I wrote that list, an obviously inebriated man came to my door, knocked and asked if he could get some spare change to buy a noodle cup. My roommate answered the door, and it was his first time getting that, and my 5th or 6th since I moved in. As for the address of the halfway house I referred to--it's close to my casa so sorry--no stalker-food for you, but I assure you it exists.

• Emotionally invested? Haha, I don't know about you, but I've never been one to brag about where I'm from, it's as mundane as school pride. If you're actually from a place or at least lived there for a good while, you can provide much better insight to what is actually being said, and what cliches to poke fun at.  Humor should be smart, not lazy.

• Living in Five Points, I've only heard one of these; "I wish my mail got here before 6:00 p.m."...which I've heard in a number of neighborhoods.  Maybe half should be "Shit white people think would be heard in Five Points" and the other half; "Shit racists think would be heard in Five Points." p.s.  You got an address for that halfway house in Five Points?  Didn't think so.

• The problem with the ones I've watched about Denver, is one, they're not being made by people from here, and two, just like any city, Denver has huge neighborhoods that are very different from each other.  If you labeled it "Shit girls/people say in Capitol Hill" and stuck to name dropping and hipster shit, it'd be fairly accurate and funny, or if it was specific to Lodo, and stuck to "bro" shit, etc.  Denver is too big, with too many very lifestyle specific neighborhoods to generalize the entire city. Also, there really aren't good examples, for instance the other video Shit people say in Denver, talked about Colfax being ghetto or scary, but if you actually live in capitol hill, Lodo, uptown, whatever, you think the rumors and reputation of Colfax are ridiculous.

• I moved here in high school so like umm like 7 years...nobody is actually from Denver any more thats why these things are so great!! It in no way is shit people who are from Denver would say, but for sure shit people who move here and jump on the hipster scene and think they are cool say! Funny video though I can put a bunch of people who party at Beta and hang out a coffee shops right into this mold
