Richard Peterson and the Art of a Warrior Tribe at Gildar Gallery (Friday, free)
Late '70s punk will come alive tonight through the photographs of Denver artist Richard Peterson, the photographer who used to document punk on film for the San Francisco fanzine Search & Destroy. In addition to the rock photographs, there will be plenty of other paintings, prints, and collages that fit into the punk aesthetic. Don your leather jacket and fill your heart full of napalm.

Cora Vette's Black Box Burlesque at Bar Standard (Friday, $10)
Cora Vette's burlesque is time traveling to the '80s tonight with My Teen Angst Bullsh*t, a show designed around stripping to '80s movie soundtracks. From Dirty Dancing to 9 to 5, Cora Vette is bringing out all the hits for this fabulous night of striptease.
Lipgloss at La Rumba (Friday, $5)
It'll be a very special Lipgloss tonight. The dance party rumbles floors every week, but it has been doing that sans founder Tyler Jacobson since 2009.
