Reader: New History Colorado Center is world-class, and Michael Paglia is not

The criticism of Michael Paglia's review of the History Colorado Center, and his subsequent suggestions for "Ten shows the History Colorado Center should have opened with," are getting pretty colorful.

Says Guest:

I don't understand why you don't just open your own musuem! I'm quite irritated that you are discounting the amazing work that has been done to open the new museum. I hate when journalists (well, I wouldn't call you a journalist, to me you're just a critic, there's no actual journalism here...and I'd know...I have a degree in journalism) feel like they have to dis things to be cool. The new museum is world-class and we're lucky to have access to it.

And this from another Guest:

I think it's safe to say we are tremendously lucky the author of this column doesn't 't work anywhere near or a museum. I suppose he could build a pristine building, keep people out, and criticize those that do come near for being low-brow. Shame on you, Westword.
