Reader: CREEP! shows the creep of Kickstarter
Is everyone using Kickstarter to push a movie project? Some days it seems like that. The crew behind CREEP!, a movie about making the worst horror movie ever -- 1964's The Creeping Terror -- is in the last days of an attempt to raise $65,000 to bring the monster back to the big screen. 
The director is Pete Schuermann, who became obsessed with the original movie back in 1978, when he was a teenager who'd just moved to Colorado and caught it on TV one night. "The Creeping Terror was so badly done, it was hilarious," he says. "It was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen -- unintentionally." He and his brother became so obsessed with the movie, they even started a Creeping Terror fan club.
Now his project is making new fans. Says Mary Jane:
Watching the Creep Movie funding progress on Kickstarter has been so much fun. I love to see imaginative professionals reach for their dreams and make them come true. They are currently only a couple of thousand dollars short of their $65,000 goal. I rejoice in their achievement and will help them get there because they should. .
