Five things to do for $5 this Memorial Day
Memorial Day is about honoring fallen soldiers, but it's also about enjoying good company, getting out of work, and firing up the grill. If you don't have a backyard to go to this year, we've got five events this Monday that won't cost you more than a five-spot, from a free barbecue to a rubber ducky race to a burlesque show. Slather on your sunscreen and get out there and enjoy the day.

Old South Gaylord Memorial Day Weekend Festival at Old South Gaylord Street (free)
What better way to honor soldiers than a big, outdoor block party? Over seventy vendors will congregate on the 1000 block of Old South Gaylord Street along with musicians, food, and a fine art pavilion to celebrate. Buy some street food, look at art, and browse the peddlers selling their wares.
Customer Appreciation BBQ Grill Out at eden (free)
The holiday wouldn't be complete without some barbecue, so if you don't have a friend's place to crash on Monday, the grill at eden is a great place to munch on burgers, veggie burgers, brats, and hot dogs. Did we mention it's all free? It's all free. There are sure to be drink specials, making this one of the best bets for Memorial Day fun.
Boulder Creek Festival at Central Park (free)
The only place you can see 10,000 rubber ducks racing down Boulder Creek is at this yearly Memorial Day weekend festival. Cheer on your rubber ducky, browse lots of local art, and see live music at this Boulder bash.
