Our Thoughts Are Objects at GNU: Experience Gallery (Friday, free)
Destruction can be a lot of fun -- and you'll get to participate in the destruction of a whole lot of musical instruments tonight. Artist Brett Schreiber is inviting folks to bring a musicial instrument to Fort Collins to smash at his performance piece tonight, which is the first part of his process of creating an art installation. The Facebook invite warns that you might leave covered in paint, so definitely dress in clothes you don't mind destroyed, or at least altered.
Denver Outlaws + Old School at Sports Authority Field at Mile High (Saturday, $10)
Today's Denver Outlaws' lacrosse game against the Rochester Rattlers will be followed by a screening of Old School. So you can watch a bunch of dudes duke it out for a win, and then watch Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell and Luke Wilson's drunken antics as they start a fraternity in this comedy.
