Art can be funny -- sometimes inadvertently -- but rarely do we see a show pointedly dedicated to funny art. But Art You Can Laugh At, curated by Eric Matelski and opening today at MacSpa, is an exhibit that revels in silliness: Its sole purpose is to make us guffaw and hiccup, laugh until we cry, and maybe even roll on the floor with laughter.

A kickoff for next month's third annual Laugh Track Comedy Festival at the Bug and the Oriental Theater, the funny group show hangs through July 28 and can be viewed daily except Sundays; the official opening reception and potluck is this coming Thursday, June 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Visit MacSpa online for details about the art show; to learn more about Laugh Track, go to the event website -- the complete schedule will go up tomorrow. See a preview of funny artwork beginning on the next page.
