There is no Denver Memorial Hospital. But if there were, we'd bet it wouldn't be in Vancouver. Sadly, that's where the upcoming CW television series Emily Owens, M.D., set at the fictional Denver Memorial Hospital, is being filmed.
That's not a real hospital in the background. And it's not really in Denver.
The show, which stars actress Mamie Gummer (Meryl Streep's daughter) as a nerdy first-year surgery intern, joins a long list of other Colorado pretenders.
