Eliot Spitzer and Glenn Beck face off tonight in a real free-for-all

The big presidential debate is tomorrow night, but political fights are breaking out all over town -- on street corners, in bars. And tonight, there should be a doozy at the Fillmore Auditorium, where political heavyweights Glenn Beck and Eliot Spitzer will go head-to-head in a battle of ideas.

The boxing-themed event is hosted by DISH and continues "The War of the Words," an exchange that started in New York on September 13 along with the launch of DISH's enhanced political programming options, including Beck's new network, TheBlaze, and Spitzer's home network, Current TV.

Surrounded by a live audience -- you can also watch on Facebook and DISH -- Beck and Spitzer will face off on a variety of hot-button topics. After brief opening statements, the two will answer questions posed by moderator Ed Sardella, longtime Channel 9 anchor.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the yakking starts at 8 p.m. This battle in the "War of the Words" is free and open to the public, though you'll need an admission ticket. But it should be easier to get than a ticket to tomorrow's debate at the University of Denver! Get more information here.

"The Conservative" vs. "The Progressive"? Spare me.

What, was "The Warmonger" vs. "The Whoremonger" already taken?
