If you missed the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney last night, you might not be able to understand your friends' jokes this morning. Aside from an aggressively unexpected use of the phrase "gang bangers," last night also featured the much-memed line in which Romney mentioned "binders full of women." You read that correctly: While discussing pay equity for women, Romney said, "I went to a number of women's groups and said, 'Can you help us find folks,' and they brought us whole binders full of women.'"

From there, the quote made its rounds on the Internet -- including the aptly titled site bindersfullofwomen.tumblr.com -- and the rest is history. Continue reading for our twenty favorite memes to come out of the line.

Maybe I'm dating myself (shit I'm only 30!) here, but I'm not exactly 'getting' this whole binders rage. When I was in charge of hiring people for a number of retail stores, I never once bothered with those we got via e-mail. Taking your application in to the respective place and meeting the hiring manager face-to-face is still the way one should seek employment. Maybe that's why we have such terrible unemployment? Because nobody goes out LOOKING for a job and instead just apathetically fills out hundreds of online forms expecting the business to do all the leg-work? I'm pretty sure Mitt meant that these women had brought in their resumes, which were collected and stored in binders - as they usually are?

kind of sad that America is more interested in the binders comment than about - What was the intention of Fast and Furious - and why didn't the President respond?
