Greater Than Records and Illegal Pete's are hosting a great, unbelievably inexpensive night of comedy this evening, featuring former Westword writer Adam Cayton-Holland and Westword Mastermind Andrew Orvedahl as they record their comedy albums. See what is sure to be a great show for only $5 (cash only, tickets sold at the door), and look forward to hearing your laughs recorded when the albums come out.
Tough Love at the Deer Pile (Saturday, free)
Sometimes love is a bummer. But at least you can get some good stories out of romance gone wrong. That's the focus of this entire night at the Deer Pile; come see Ben Roy, Kevin O'Brian, Strange Powers, Roxy Castillo and many more performers as they tell stories of bad relationships past. DJ Jonny DeStefano will play after-party tunes, so after you delve through that cathartic swamp of heartbreak, you can dance off the angst.

Saturday Morning Cartoons & Comedy at the Deer Pile (Saturday, free)
Longing for the days when you could roll out of bed on Saturday morning and watch cartoons in your pajamas? Free Day at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (Sunday, free)
Normally adult tickets to the Denver Museum of Nature and Science run $13, but today admission is completely free. Although that deal doesn't include the special Pompeii exhibit, but you can spend hours just looking at the dinosaur bones, Egyptian mummies, rocks and other amazing displays.
