While the weather continues to shift from sunny to gloomy during these late-fall nights, street fashion has seen some extreme highs and lows as well. Last week, for example, we spotted many people wearing their pajamas out and about. But this week, our street-style prayers were answered when we spotted Madison Morris, a Pueblo native and student at Metropolitan State University of Denver who has a unique taste in accessories.

Continue reading to learn Morris's autumn anthem, which style icons influence her aesthetic and, of course, what's inside her bag.

Name: Madison Morris.

Spotted at: 17th and Pennsylvania streets.

Profession: Student at Metro State majoring in technical communications; sales advisor at Puma store in Cherry Creek mall.

Favorite film: Right now, The Tree of Life.

Autumn anthem: Anything by the band Of Monsters and Men, especially the song "Little Talks."

Style inspirations/icons: I'm really into fictional woman of the 1960s, like Joan from Mad Men, and even real women from the 1960s like Edie Sedgwick. I also get inspired by the random people I see on the street.

Favorite color: Gray, because it is the ultimate neutral.

Favorite accessory: My Lacoste beanie.

Style mantra: I force myself to be confident. If you are confident, you can wear anything and people will buy it. And love it.

Shops at: All the stores around here: Forever 21, H&M, Nordstrom and the Goodwill on South Broadway is my favorite. I also shop online.

This Lacoste Beanie is Morris's favorite accessory, which she picked up at Nordstrom. "I planned to give it away as a gift, but I liked it so much that I ended up keeping it for myself," says Morris.

These black leather boots are made by Jeffrey Campbell and feature leather fringe around the silver steel toes. "I usually buy my shoes online; I love this website called karmaloop.com," Morris adds.
