The tenth book in the Captain Underpants children's series is coming out, and to celebrate the release the Tattered Cover Highlands Ranch is throwing a big, family-friendly party complete with an appearance by the Captain himself. Bring your kids for stories, activities and photo opportunities, and pick up a copy of the latest: Captain Underpants and the Revolting Revenge of the Radioactive Robo-Boxer.
DABC's Melt Yer Faceoff Dance Party Fundraiser at Rhinoceropolis (Saturday, sliding scale donations)
Dance to the tunes of DJ Firehawk at a party tonight that benefits the actions of Denver Anarchist Black Cross. In its own words, the organization "provides support to political prisoners, radical movement defense, legal support to local communities, and a community wide mutual aid fund." Support this cause while shaking your legs at what's sure to be a fun extravaganza.
