All of them are, of course, free!

Warm Cookies of the Revolution presents: Civic Stitch N' Bitch at the McNichols Building (Monday)
You don't have to be a cross-stitcher, a knitter or a crochet master to join this edition of Warm Cookies of theRevolution, a "civic health club" and open forum for political and social discussion. Co-sponsored by Lowbrow, Fancy Tiger Crafts and Create Denver, the Civic Stitch N' Bitch is all about inviting "woodcarvers and whittlers, crocheters and quilters, finger painters and sketchpad drawers, magic card trick people" to a night of crafting and commiserating.

You don't have to have a desire to craft at all; just come for the cookies and discussion with topics that include (but are not limited to): Is my neighborhood gentrifying and where do I fit in? What's the fuss over the DREAM Act? Is Facebook making us lonely? What are the highs and lows of legal pot? Is gun control anti-American? Organic? Gluten-Free? Vegan? Local? Seriously, what's the deal with food?

Cookies and milk (of the dairy and non-dairy varieties) will be provided. The event is free, but an RSVP is appreciated at info@warmcookiesoftherevolution.org.

February Open Screen Night at Oriental Theater (Tuesday)
Tonight, the Oriental Theater opens its charming doors to offer up the big screen for any filmmaker who wants it. Bring your own film to screen, or just come and watch what the community has to offer. Doors open at 7 p.m., at which point submissions will be taken. The shows starts at 8 p.m.

Goldyn & The Scout Guide Present: Kristen Hatgi Sink at Goldyn

Hatgi Sink will be showing her stunning photography and other selected pieces from 6 to 9 p.m., along with an exclusive trunk show from Colorado-based jewelry line The Woods. Wine will be provided by Infinite Monkey Theorem alongside snacks and treats, and DJ Tyler Snow will be spinning live.

The Kristen Hatgi Sink show will hang at Goldyn through the month of March. Tonight's party is free, but RSVPs are requested at info@shopgoldyn.com.
