Regis student Zoe Vlastos and friends throw a Concert for a Cause tonight

Regis University's Concert for a Cause series is dishing up a whopper tonight, all in the name of the Eating Disorder Foundation, which will benefit from performances by more than twenty acts, including professionals and students alike. Organized by student Zoe Vlastos, a psychology major who turns about to be a piano phenom on the side, the event features renowned Denver trumpeter Ron Miles, who will spread his instrumental love around in some unique duets.

The highlights? Hear Miles join Vlastos for the Tom Waits tune "Closing Time" and hip-hopper Chris Steele -- aka Time -- on an original Steele composition, "They Call Us the Irish." Funk/rock combo Souled will also be there. And that's just a sneak peek at an evening sure to filled with musical surprises.

Concert for a Cause begins at 6:30 p.m. at Walker's Pub, on campus inside the Regis Student Center; for a $15 (recommended) donation, you'll get all this plus free snacks and a good time. For more information call 303-458-3505.
