And the answer is? A homegrown version of Family Feud at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse

The Family Feud format has always been good for kin-centered drama, and tonight's live version at the Voodoo Comedy Playhouse should have plenty of it. Except that the members of the teams playing in this evening's knock-off of the three-decade-old TV show aren't related: The friendly competition will pit the club's own Follies Voudou Burlesque dancers against the kitchen staff of Biker Jim's Gourmet Hot Dogs.

Dubbed the (Not the Family Feud But Just Like the Family Feud) Feud, the improvisational show is hosted by Voodoo's Justin Franzen, a local sketch comic and staple at the theater. Franzen will oversee just how well (or terribly) the players do in this unscripted game show that is part of the club's diverse, humor-driven weekly lineup.

Tonight's (Not the Family Feud But Just Like the Family Feud) Feud at Voodoo Comedy Playhouse starts at 8 p.m.; Tickets are $3 and can be purchased at the door, in in advance on the theater's website, or by calling 303-578-0079.
