Led by Saul Rosenthal, a professional cantor and PR guy, the jewgrassers will take the stage tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Swallow Hill Music Association's weekly Shady Grove Picnic Series at Four Mile Historic Park. You might even hear songs from their year-old CD Bupkes (roughly, Yiddish for "beans," "nada" and/or "goatshit") and other upbeat versions of traditional Jewish songs. Gates open at 6 p.m. for the family- and picnic-friendly al fresco concert; bring a big blanket or lawn chair, a basket of food and your ears. Tickets, available at the gate, range from $2 to $10 (or free for tykes under age two). For more information visit Swallow Hill online.
