Profession:. I'm a full-time student at Metropolitan State University and I'm going for broadcast performance and communications. I'm interning with KS 107.5 this summer. I want to work on the radio.
Favorite film: Step Brothers. I can quote that movie from front to back.
2013 jam: "Uptown" by Travis Scott. I saw him last week at the Gothic Theater and he is wild. Also, a song called "Threatz" by Denzel Curry. If I ever go as dumb as they go in that video, I will consider myself a success.
Style inspirations/icons: Kanye West and Pharrell Williams. They have always been on-point, in terms of style, and their music is good, too.
Favorite color: Purple because I grew up a Rockies fan.
Favorite accessory: I wear a hat 99 percent of the time.
Style mantra: I start bottom to top when I choose my outfit. I pick my pants first. I give myself a good nod on the way out. I also want my outfit to be able to start a conversation.
Shops at:I shop at Urban Outfitters, Unique thrift store in Aurora and on some websites.
Style analysis: While music inspires many fashion looks, Cole Ritter uses music to make a name for himself on the air as well. Heavily influenced by hip-hop fashion, he cites rappers Kanye and Pharrell as fashion icons and admires new rappers Travis Scott and Denzel Curry. He uses his radio internship, his look and even his accessories as avenues to start conversations, meet new people and network. And he's not afraid to start new trends: His ankle bracelet shows his attention to details.
