Celebrate Asia's mid-autumn harvest at this free event put on by Regis University's Asian Student Alliance. Now in its second year, the fest is a great way to enjoy diverse music and dance performances, as well as food from countries throughout Asia.
Cafe Cultura Family Day Open Mic at La Academia@Denver Inner City Parish (Friday, free)
Express yourself with poems about family, food, even substance abuse at Cafe Cultura's open mic -- or just come to watch. The night promises a community-building evening of spoken word, music, free food, art, vendors and dance, with special performances by Grupo Tlaloc Danza Azteca and writer Idris Goodwin.
YOGA/ART/MUSIC/KINDNESS at Kindness Yoga Capitol Hill (Friday, by donation)
Kindness Yoga will transform into an art studio tonight for its first-ever art opening. Jess Webb and Paul DeHaven will show their new pieces as well as play a set of music under the name Saskatoon, while you can downward dog and side plank to a donation yoga class themed around DeHaven's artist statement.
