Spotted at: Broadway and Cheyenne streets.
Profession: I'm studying theater at Metropolitan State University of Denver. I'm an artist, dancer, actor and performer. Right now I'm in a production of A Chorus Line and I am working on a series of pieces called Mechanical Animals. [Check out his art here.]
2013 jam: "Circumambient" by Grimes.
Favorite film: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Style inspirations/icons: Andrej Pejić is a model who models both menswear and womenswear, so I think that style is really cool. I like stripes, so pirates and nautical styles are inspiring. I like dramatic fashions that I see on the street that make people uncomfortable. Depending on what kind of music I listen to on a certain day, I like to dress for the music, too.
Favorite accessory: I usually wear my cuffs, my big bracelets -- but I don't have them today.
Favorite color: It changes day to day, but today it's fuchsia.
Style mantra: Make them do a double take, look twice.
Shops at: I thrift shop and go to Buffalo Exchange. I go to places like H&M and Forever 21 for basics. Top Shop is my favorite place to shop online.
The chain adds some flair to these pegged-up jeans that resemble capri pants -- or man-pri. "Push your own comfort boundaries to find what works for you. You never know if you don't try," says Bridges. Here he wears a striped shirt that features lace detail.
Style analysis: Bridges exemplifies how to use fashion as a medium to get people's attention. Like an artist with a palette, he plays with the social norms of society by wearing a masculine striped shirt with a feminine lace detail that combines two elements in one. He has standout accessories that are conversation pieces and correlate to his personal taste.
Always push social boundaries with your fashion, Denver.
