To hype the upcoming Passport to Paris exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, the DAM recreated a Parisian street scene in its outdoor plaza yesterday, complete with ten local artists painting that scene. One of those artists was Ron Hicks, and his fashionable wife was present as well, posing as a model and muse. Keep reading to learn about Sharron Hicks's style, her favorite films and accessories, and where she shops.

Name: Sharron Hicks.

Spotted at: Denver Art Museum Plaza at 14th Avenue.

Profession: I'm a paramedical esthetician and I'm also the fine art director of Ron Hicks Fine art.

Favorite film: The Best Man and The Sound of Music. Also, Sex and the City and The Devil Wears Prada.

2013 jam: "Blurred Lines" by Robin Thicke and "Treasures" by Bruno Mars.

Style inspirations/icons: I love all things Parisian and New York. I'm a total Chanel girl. Coco Chanel epitomizes fashion and how a lady should look and present herself; all of those wonderful things. And, of course, you can't go wrong with Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs as well.

Favorite accessory: Handbags and scarves. It has to be a handbag, hands down. My go-tos are my Louis Vuittons because they are easy to grab and classic. I have about forty to fifty different handbags. They are all a variety of designers and some are not a brand, but just a great-looking bag.

Favorite color: I like all colors. If I spin a color wheel, there is something in all areas that I can blend and use. I put all kinds of colors together.

Style mantra: Classic and effortless. I don't ever like to look like I tried. When something is really contrived, that comes through. When it is natural, it looks clearer and more individualized.

Shops at: Everywhere. I'm not limited to malls or one particular store. We travel around and I like places that are off the beaten path. I love Decades on South Broadway and exclusive boutiques and random vintage shops.

"She will buy something that makes absolutely no sense to me, and then a year later she will wear it and it will make total sense," says Ron Hicks of his wife's style. He painted an impressionistic portrait of her during the DAM event.

Sharron Hicks is carrying a Louis Vuitton monogram printed clutch that sets off her cement- colored manicure, called "turbulence" this season by the Pantone color company, which manufactures fabric colors for the fashion industry. Hicks is also wearing diamond rings, a silver watch, a beaded bracelet and a spiral cuff.

Style analysis: Fine art and fashion feed each other in the perfect environment -- both at the DAM, and in the Hicks marriage as well. Sharron Hicks inspires her husband with her fashion and he inspires her with his art. Sharron Hicks likes films that are fashion-oriented, and fashion-industry heavy-hitters like Coco Chanel and Marc Jacobs are her icons. She possesses an effortless style, and her simple black dress allows all of her unique accessories to pop: bracelets, rings, colorful scarf, clutch, and vintage tortoise-shell sunnies. By paying attention to the small details, she makes the larger picture appear flawless.

Always live a life full of fashion and art, Denver.
