Pancakes, pitbulls and yoga are all on the calendar this weekend, which includes a wonderfully off-kilter mix of interactive parties and fun-for-all gatherings. If you're into miniature versions of your favorite horror movie scenes, the Diehorrorama show at Eslinger Gallery is the spot for you. Craving one last taste of farmers' market and flea market fun? Old South Pearl has you covered. We've highlighted ten cheap and/or free things to keep you busy in the Mile High City over the next few days, but be sure to check out the Westword online calendar for more ideas. Diehorrorama at Eslinger Gallery, 118 South Broadway (Friday, Free)
Like all of Chubby Robot's productions and art-minded parties, tonight's Diehorrorama art show is heavy on throwback elements of pop culture. Twenty Denver artists -- including Ben Booker, Delton Demarest, Karma Leigh and Kevin Eslinger -- were asked to recreate scenes from their favorite horror movies in diorama form, and the results are frighteningly good. DJ Adam Tensai Williams and DJ Joaquin 'Unison' Quintana will be spinning tunes at the opening and sweet treats will be provided by The Shoppe. This is also an early Halloween event, so come dressed to impress for a costume contest.

Opening reception for Every Four Hours at Core New Art Space, Friday (Free)
Photographer Terri Bell's latest exhibition, Every Four Hours opens tonight. In addition to Bell's fascinating, multi-layered pieces, the show contains new work by Jon Koenigsberg and Jesse Myers. A celebrated artist, photographer, gallerist and curator, Bell is constantly creating -- and tonight's free event is sure to create a good start to the weekend.

Spoken Word and Hummos at Damascus Grill (Friday, $7)
Be a part of the action and bring your own work to the mic, or just sit back and relax at this evening of live poetry and delicious food. Tea is on the house and an art auction will be raising money for The Amal Project, a nonprofit that supplies aid to Syrian refugees and internationally displaced people. Sign up for the spoken-word gathering begins at 8 p.m.; the show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Untitled #62 (Shady) at the Denver Art Museum (Friday, $3-$10, two-for-one with valid student ID)
The final installment of this season's after-museum-hours program, Untitled #62 invites you to the dark side. DAM curator Eric Paddock will discuss deceptive photography, artist Rupprecht Matthies will engage the audience in a massive two-story art project, artist Betsy Tobin will offer some light and shadow experimentation, and many more interactive events are on tap for this night of adult museum fun.

Pancakes & Booze art show at City Hall (Friday, $5)
Part all-you-can-eat pancake bar, part art show and all dance party, this traveling good time aims to showcase dozens of emerging artists in every city it visits. Tonight's installment of Pancakes & Booze also features a zombie fashion show and live music from no Fair Fights, Devan Jones and Anthony Ruptak.
