Theater Threads and a cast of characters raise funds for arts education

A cast of well-known characters came to life at the Theater Threads luncheon last week. Hosted by Channel 9's Kirk Montgomery, the annual fundraiser for the Denver Center for the Performing Arts education program gave patrons an up-close and personal look at costumes from some of its Tony-winning performances, modeled by a few of Denver's business elite.

The well-heeled, luncheon crowd kicked up their heels as they cheered for their favorite costumed philanthropist. We were there to capture the action -- and the costumes.
