In fact, you don't have to drop that much dough at all over your post-Turkey Day weekend. CosbyCon 2013 at the MCA Denver (Friday, $5)
Don your most festive dad sweater and head to the MCA's annual CosbyCon for a night of Jello shots, pudding pops, and garish threads. It's also a great opportunity to wander the collection at the MCA if you need a break from the sweater contest.

The Grawlix at the Bug Theater (Friday, $10)
Episode 34 of one of the most popular comedy nights in town returns tonight with headliner Fairly Legal actor and comedian Baron Vaughn. Other special guests include Dave Ross and Tim Messenger in addition to the Grawlix regulars.

St. Nick on the Bricks at the Downtown Boulder Visitor Information Center (Friday-Saturday, free)
Santa's sleigh will touch down in Boulder this weekend and stay through December 21, offering visits for children with jolly old Saint Nick. See the elf for free anytime from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hell Toupee Cabaret for Greed at Denver's Dangerous Theatre (Friday, $5)
Forego the shopping specials on Black Friday for a night of sinful theater. A special Seven Deadly Sins edition of the Hell Toupee Cabaret tonight will poke fun at the root of all evil through performances by Demi Urge and the Hell Toupee Band, thePlanet X Players, and the Planet X Dance Corps.

Holly Acres Christmas Festival in Elizabeth (Saturday, free)
Now that Turkey Day is over, it's time for those that are so inclined to find a Christmas tree. Head up to Elizabeth and pick out a tree while you enjoy holiday festivities all day. Santa will be on hand, along with a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, hot cocoa, and lots more.
