Creepshow at Crash 45 (Tuesday)
The Cruel Winter Horror Film Series is back tonight with its first January flick: Creepshow. Have a drink at Crash 45 while you watch the Stephen King-penned, George Romero-directed horror movie inspired by 1950s EC comics.

Gasland II at the Mercury Cafe (Wednesday)
Delving into the world of the oil-and-gas industries and fracking, Josh Fox's controversial Gasland II will screen tonight for free. Local activists Cliff Wellmung and Shane Davis will be on hand for a group discussion after the film.

Mile High Improv Night at the Lion's Lair (Thursday)
While improv nights for comedy are commonplace, a chance to see bands improvise live is much more rare. Tonight, though, members of The Free Electric Band, Lucida Tela, Parafunk and Facial will create one-of-a-kind performances based on the unique musical expressions going on around them. Come witness something that will never happen quite the same way again.

Where does; find a flight back from new York. Sit on this list? The Whiney babies cancelled my flight yesterday due to "severe winter storms". (apparently 20 degree weather is severe.) and no everything is booked up because all the pot heads around here are headed to D-town to get some of that herb! Frickin hippies.. (I'm totally kidding of course. I am not complaining about being stuck in new York city for a while.. Ha and it's so awesome how much attention and revenue Colorado is getting from a single plant..)
