Tonight, January 30, Westword is holding the second annual Whiteout, a celebration of Denver fashion that will bring live music, designers, vendors and and signature cocktails to the McNichols Building, with a portion of the proceeds going to the American Transplant Foundation.

Until noon today, you can get a general-admission ticket for just $22 with the promo code HIGHFASHION. The ticket also gets you into our after-party at Chloe, which includes an open bar.

Waiting until the last minute? Bringing a last-minute date? We'll have tickets available at the door for $50 each. Let us know you're excited by tweeting about it with the hashtag #Whiteout14.

Check out photos from last year's Whiteout fashion show.

I have been with my wife 21yrs, she 39 and me 41. She love the Denver fashion scene, so much, that's all she talks about. Can you please help me tell her how much I love her, by taking her to the Whiteout. Thank you

Denver is the best place in the world to find vintage Western shirts at thrift stores.  Plenty of stylish old cowboys kicking the bucket, their next of kin donating their awesome clothes to the ARC, and snagging said shirts for under $3 on 50% off Saturdays: priceless.

I'm a wardrobe stylist and have been navigating the Denver fashion scene since I moved here 2 years ago.  I love how supportive the fashion community is of each other.  My favorite thing is all the emerging talent making a name for the city!  LOVE

My favorite thing about the fashion scene in Denver is how it can change from neighborhood to neighborhood. The styles of the Lodo girl vs. Cherry Creek vs. Cap Hill. I feel like I can experiment and change my look without anyone batting an eye. Each neighborhood also has their amazing boutiques! Everyone has their unique styles, and I especially LOVE that we have such talented hairstylists and makeup artists to put on so many great events throughout the year! Who says you have to live in the 'big cities' to be in the fashion scene? Go Denver!!

please_spam_me_im_a_moron@phony-inbox.com What I love most about the "fashion" scene here is that the typical Denverite/suburbanite DWEEB transplant seems to find any rag to throw upon oneself and go unkempt for months while having the audacity to mock those for daring to practice proper grooming or even basic hygiene.

I just moved up to Denver from Dallas last summer. I was really involved in the Dallas fashion scene and didn't think Denver could hold a candle to it. BUT after seeing the many diverging styles that are reinvented, or invented, into a unique personality driven look; it blew me away. There is so much diversity in fashion up here, it's incredible. Proud to be apart of it!

My favorite thing about Denver's fashion scene, in my opinion, is how much it's emerging into the spotlight.  Seeing it transform and grow is awesome to watch!  Denver has definitely been putting in work to make it's mark in the world of art and fashion and it's all very exciting to be a part of!

My favorite thing about Denver fashion is the originality and element of surprise every season. Denver can be recognized as one of the best cities in the US and now we can represent creativity with the top fashion cities in the US.

Honestly I'm a newbie to investigating the Denver Fashion Scene. This sounds like a great introduction to the part of the city that is not entirely swathed in flannel and puffy vests, though.

(Nothing against flannel and puffy vests, of course! Just some nights out feel a little like a Han Solo drag convention: http://imgur.com/kI8B6ki )
