MountainFest 2014 at American Mountaineering Center (Friday, free)
The snow will soon melt and skiing will be over for this season. The Colorado Mountain Club wants to make sure you're prepared for this spring and summer's mountain adventures, and is hosting a free night of outdoor skills clinics and advice on where to go and what to do. True To This at Marquis Theater (Friday, free)

Prism Waves at Goldyn (Friday, free)
Goldyn is one hip clothing shop; as proof, it hosts free concerts featuring super-cool bands and serves free booze. Tonight, the Goldyn Sessions presents Prism Waves, a band full of melancholy, synth, reverb and great style to boot.

Tattoo in Contemporary Art at 910Arts (Friday, free)
Juli Morsella is an accomplished marquetry artist, recently transplanted to Denver from Italy.
