Month of Photography 2013 officially begins on March 1, but Alicia Bailey's tiny temple to book-art, Abecedarian Gallery, is getting a head start tonight, when Photo Book Works, an international exhibition of artists' books incorporating photos and photographic processes, opens in conjunction with the Third Friday Artwalk on Santa Fe Drive. The small but potent show was juried with a keen eye by Rupert Jenkins of the Colorado Photographic Art Center.

See Photo Book Works from 5 to 8 p.m.; the show, along with some side exhibits, then continues through April 6. Following is a sampling of what you'll see unfolding at Abecedarian.
